General Description

The LP4069T is a complete constant-current/constant voltage linear charger for single celllithium-ion battery. No external sense resistor isneeded, and no blocking diode is required due to theinternal MOSFET architecture. Thermal feedbackregulates the charge current to limit the dietemperature during high power operation or highambient temperature. The charge voltage is fixed atVFLOAT, and the charge current can be programmedexternally by ISET pin with a single resistor.The LP4069T automatically terminates the chargecycle when the charge current drops to 1/10 settingcurrent value after the final float voltage is reached.Other features include charge current monitor, undervoltage lockout, automatic recharge, status pins andbattery temperature detection.
