DESCRIPTION
PT8211 is a dual channel, 16 bit Digital-to-AnalogConverter IC utilizing CMOS technology speciallydesigned for the digital audio applications. The internalconversion architecture is based on a R-2R resisterladder network, internal circuit is well matched and a16 bit dynamic range is achieved even in whole supplyvoltage range.
PT8211 also enhanced theperformance of timing responsibility in digital serialbus, in a company with the fast switching R-2Rnetwork that make 8X oversampling audio signal isalso supported.PT8211 can be supported wide range of samplefrequency; it is compatible with TDA1311 byfunctionally. Its digital input timing format is LeastSignificant Bit Justified (LSBJ), or so called Japaneseinput format. Digital code format is two’s complementand MSB first. PT8211 is available in 8-pin SOP orDIP.
