DESCRIPTION
The PT6911 is ideally suited for AC/DC buck LEDdriver with external MOSFET. Since the PT6911includes a 12V~450V linear regulator which allows it towork from a wide range of input voltages without theneed for an external low voltage supply. Besides, thePT6911 operates in hysteretic control mode; thecontroller achieves good output current regulationwithout the need for any loop compensation. ThePT6911 delivers constant current within high accuracyto a wide variety and number of series connectedLEDs.
The PT6911 includes PWM dimming and lineardimming functions. The PWM dimming input canaccept an external control signal with a duty cycle of0~100.00% and a frequency between 100Hz and a fewKHz. Output current to LED string can be programmedto any value between 0 to its maximum value by PWMdimming. Also, a 0.1~1.2V linear dimming input can beused for linear dimming of the LED current.
